Ms. Burke is a Senior Project Manager with GZA. She is a water resources engineer with more than 24 years of experience with civil engineering and water resources related projects and a specialty in environmental documentation and permitting. Ms. Burke has extensive experience at assisting New England airports relative to stormwater permitting and oil pollution prevention permitting, with the development and maintenance of Industrial Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, as well as assistance with Environmental Impact Reports and other environmental documentation under NEPA and MEPA. She was a contributing author on the most recent Transportation Research Board’s Transportation Research Circular – Critical Issues in Aviation and the Environment 2021 and presented at StormCon, a national stormwater conference, on the challenges of small airports relative to industrial stormwater compliance. In 2015, her article regarding industrial compliance for General Aviation airports was published in Stormwater Magazine.
